Brittany Smith

B. Smith, known as Brittany Laurén in the rock band Limberlost, is an accomplished vocal coach, musician, and author with over 20 years of experience in music education and performance. As the founder of Laurén Studios, Brittany has dedicated her career to mentoring the next generation of vocalists, pianists, and young artists, with her students going on to achieve success in fields ranging from Broadway to film and media. Brittany has a passion for integrating modern music styles like pop and rock into traditional academia, making her an advocate for bringing diverse vocal techniques into the classroom. While with Limberlost, Brittany has had two radio hit songs, two studio albums, toured in US, EU, and UK, played with artists such as Scott Stapp, Daughtry, Bush, Dorothy, The Motels, The Frank Zappa Band, Sami Chohfi, Yngwie Malmsteen, and many others. In addition to her performing career, she has written and published several books focused on music education, and established The Pipsqueak Piano Company whose primary mission is to provide opportunities for young children to benefit from the brain-boosting power of music education.
