I'm Bronte Aurell and I own the ScandiKitchen Cafe in London, England. Our cafe was set up in 2007 - because we (my partner Jonas and I) missed food from our homes in Scandinavia. We wanted to create a place where ex-pats could find the foods they missed from home and where everybody else felt welcome to pop by and enjoy some nice open sandwiches, cakes and coffee. The first book ScandiKitchen is about the everyday dishes we cook at home - both savoury and sweet. Fika & Hygge (2016) is all about baking - good, solid home baking - from pastry to cakes and comfort bakes and cookies. The mini book Hygge is about just that: Finding space and time to be with family and friends in a busy world. Then Nørth came along - a book about Scandinavian culture and how to be more Scandinavian in your day to day life. It's quite tongue in cheek - and about how we differ as countries. 2018 was a busy year: ScandiKitchen summer was published and then in October 2018, ScandiKitchen Christmas. Between all our books, I think you're bound to find the recipe you're looking for. You can follow me on www.bronteaurell.com for updates and more information. Do pop by and say 'hej' if you are ever in London. www.scandikitchen.co.uk
