Bruce Orr is a retired Criminal Investigator turned author. After retiring Mr. Orr combined his love for history, folklore and legends with his love for investigation and writing and created Lost in Legend the company in which he uses his talents to preserve not only the folklore and legends of South Carolina but also its history, fossils, and artifacts as well. Mr. Orr is a historian, speaker, and lecturer. His research on several projects has been donated to locations such as the South Carolina Historical Society and the Charleston Library Society. His books have been incorporated into the South Carolina Research and Reference Rooms of libraries throughout the state. Mr. Orr is an avid Diver and is often involved as a volunteer Research Diver with the Maritime Research Division (MRD) of the South Carolina Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology (SCIAA). Many of his discoveries and finds are either donated or are on loan to the state and local museums. Mr. Orr is a consultant for many of your favorite paranormal reality shows such as Ghost Brothers, My Ghost Story, and Mysteries at the Museum, and was even nicknamed “The Ghostorian” by Ghost Hunters producer Kevin Kane. His first book, Six Miles to Charleston – The True Story of John and Lavinia Fisher was featured on the 2011 season of Ghost Adventures.
