(aka: Marni Deimler) So, who is Bumble Bee Betty!? •Bumble Bee Betty is my brand. •Bumble Bee Betty is me; an author, illustrator, designer, painter, and teacher. I am also known as Marni Deimler (and older works, are under my maiden name Marni Backer.) •Bumble Bee Betty is also the star character in some of my children's books! Currently, it is creating children's books that is bringing me joy to share! My passion is fueled by the wish to inspire kids, help them learn, and make them laugh! I strive to write in a way that children can relate to, and with eye catching art to accompany my words that excites them! As for my journals: I strive to deliver something for everyone at every age! Some cover designs showcase my paintings, and others I have designed...ranging from butterflies to buck heads... from fun to serious..for little ones through adults! I have a wide selection! For 17 years now, I have been mom to a boy that has multiple "Anaphylactic" life-threatening airborne, contact & ingested food allergies. For years, being a food allergy mom has taken center stage and has been an inspiration to do my newly released Food Allergy books as well. When 1 in 13 kids have some sort of food allergy, food allergy awareness is needed! I strive to help bring more of that awareness with my books! Bumble is back in full force creating now!
