Bunny Hull

Bunny Hull is a Grammy® Award-winning songwriter with a background as a prominent session vocalist in Los Angeles prior to her work with children and becoming an award winning children's artist and author. Hull’s beginnings as a top vocalist include work on more than 200 albums with greats including Michael Jackson (Thriller), Quincy Jones, David Foster, Baby Face, Ricky Martin, Celine Dion, Bette Midler and Jimmy Buffet, to name a few. As a songwriter she’s perhaps best known for hit songs like 2008 Dove Award Winning song Ready For A Miracle by LeAnn Rimes or New Attitude, which catapulted Patti LaBelle to the top of the charts in 1986 and won a Grammy Award as part of the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack. Hull has earned more than 20 gold and platinum albums with songs and/or as a vocalist appearing on soundtracks and in films such as Evan Almighty, Bruce Almighty, The Prince of Egypt, Losing Isaiah, A River Runs Through It, Leap of Faith and Miss Congeniality. Her work for television includes NBC's The Today Show, Oprah, the Super Bowl, Sesame Street, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Everybody Hates Chris, Any Day Now, Kings Of The Hill, Charmed and The Simpsons and national ad campaigns include Harley Davidson, Jenny Craig and Verizon. Among the many artists who have recorded her songs are Patti LaBelle, James Ingram, Thelma Houston, Angela Bofill, Wynonna, Vanessa Williams, Brenda Russell, Diana Ross, Nick Cannon, NAS and The Judds. Hull’s passion for working with children took her in a new direction when the first few songs she wrote for a youth group called the “Apple Corps”, blossomed into a her first award-winning children's CD, A Child's Spirit and ulltimately a publishing catalog filled with over 150 original children’s songs and a wall lined with awards for books and music. Hull’s titles, which include a line of activity books with music and her Young Masters Little Wisdom series have been embraced both in secular and non-secular worlds for their simplicity, charm and educational value. Her books and music have won Parents Choice, National Parenting Publications Awards, Parents Guide To Children's Media and Children's Music Web Award, been nominated by the American Library Association and hailed by The School Library Journal, American Library Journal, Midwest Book Review and many others as "treasures to be shared."
