C Edward Jolliffe

C. Edward Jolliffe is a creator of whimsical things. He was born into a colorful artistic family who, from an early age, instilled in him the belief that the world can be a wondrous place when you fill it with creativity. He’s spent the last 30 years traveling the globe as a professional designer and illustrator immersing himself with heartfelt love and respect in the cultures of all the places he’s lived. He created the Hawaiian Alphabet book as a way to give back to the people of Hawai'i who, during the time he called Maui his home, taught him the true meaning of aloha. His deepest wish is that his book can help make the Hawaiian language come alive in the minds of children and that their love for the Hawaiian culture may last a lifetime.
