C. G. Baird discovered a love for writing early in life, winning a school writing contest in fifth grade and participating in the Young Authors program at a local college. A dedicated reader, summers were often spent immersed in books at the library. C. G. Baird later honed their craft through the Institute of Children's Literature. Now, as the owner and director of a preschool, they are passionate about advocating for higher standards of care and early childhood education. Supported by their husband, Stewart, and their talented sons, Ethan and Andrew, C. G. Baird finds joy in both family life and writing. Their home is made even more lively by the family's delightful miniature golden doodle, Theo.
