C.I. Kemp was born in New York City. A product of the fifties and sixties, he was enamored of horror, fantasy, and science-fiction from an early age. He is a former English major who has never lost his passion for good books of all genres, but his first literary love is dark fiction. He counts as his influences Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Arthur Machen, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, T.E.D. Klein, and a host of others. Mr. Kemp’s latest work is Autumn Moon, a biologically-correct werewolf e-novel in that it depicts wolves as they are – gentle and timid, rather than the evil, rapacious monsters that appear in fairy tales and folklore. His first novel, Demon Ridge, is the tale of a monstrous evil that lives in the earth and terrorizes a small town. He has produced shorter works for various e-publishers of fantasy.
