Hello, I am C. Kotkin, a 75-year-old retiree born in Hollywood, California, and raised in Venice, California. After spending most of my life in California, I have embraced a fulfilling journey in retirement, eagerly pursuing my lifelong passion for writing. My stories form a rich tapestry woven from various periods of my life, each thread representing unique experiences that have shaped who I am. From my childhood adventures in California to my time at sea during my Navy career, as well as the lessons learned throughout my civilian life, I draw inspiration from all of the experiences and I very much enjoy writing about the places I have traveled and the quiet moments of reflection I have encountered. These narratives encapsulate the essence of my 75-year journey. Every life is a story waiting to be told, filled with chapters of triumphs, challenges, and personal growth. In addition to my life stories, I have ventured into the realms of fantasy, science fiction, and romance with my short book, Irma-knee, and Mr. Melberry. This creative endeavor has allowed me to explore new horizons beyond my personal experiences. Embracing the digital age, I have taught myself the ins and outs of Kindle Self-Publishing. It has been exhilarating to learn that I can translate and publish my stories in multiple languages, making them accessible to a global audience. I find it immensely rewarding to translate my works into twenty-seven languages, many of which I had never encountered before. Knowing that readers in different countries can engage with my life experiences fills me with joy. Looking ahead, I have several ambitious projects in mind that will keep me creatively engaged for years to come. Writing has become more than just a leisurely pursuit; it is a passion that allows me to share my life's story and imagination with readers around the world.
