Caitlyn Carter

关于作者

Caitlyn Carter is a writer, artist, and advocate for intentional living. She believes an organized home creates space for a more peaceful, fulfilling life. Her book, Decluttering, and Organizing Made Easy is inspired by her own transformational journey—one that took her from a sprawling family home to a carefully curated, clutter-free lifestyle. For years, Caitlyn lived in a large home where she and her ex-husband raised their two wonderful sons. But after an amicable divorce, she knew it was time to start fresh. That journey led her to a tiny 280-square-foot studio apartment in New York City, where she learned firsthand how to make the most of a small space. Every item had to serve a purpose, and decluttering became not just a necessity but a passion. Over the years, she’s refined her approach, learning how to create functional, serene spaces—no matter the size of the home. Through her writing, Caitlyn shares practical strategies and mindset shifts to help readers simplify their surroundings and embrace an organized, stress-free life. She understands the emotional side of letting go and believes that decluttering isn’t about getting rid of everything—it’s about making room for what truly matters. When she’s not writing, Caitlyn enjoys painting, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, her partner and best friend, Joe, her sons, her daughter-in-law, and her two precious grandsons. She cherishes the balance of a clutter-free home and a life filled with love, family, and meaningful experiences.
