Calvin Smith

Historian and travel writer Calvin Smith worked in higher education as a tutor and researcher for 35 years. He earned degrees (including a PhD) in languages and history and has published academic work with Cambridge University Press, Palgrave Macmillan and Brill, among others. He has resided in several countries and travels extensively, both for work (including leading tours and study groups) and leisure. He now spends much of his time in Spain, France and Andorra.
