Candace Egbert

Candace Egbert is an experienced dance instructor setting out to smooth the transition from dancer to dance teacher. She graduated with honors from Utah Valley University with a BFA in Dance - Ballet Emphasis. While there, she danced with UVU’s resident student ballet company and wrote her honors thesis on improving collegiate dance training. Candace has taught, choreographed, and adjudicated dance at local studios, after-school programs, and high schools for the performing arts for over a decade. She is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique, a member of NDEO, and has also been a finalist in Utah Metropolitan Ballet's Choreography Design Project. She dances with Deseret Dance Theater and is on the adjunct dance faculty at UVU. Candace and her husband Chandler have four children and live in Utah. You can follow her on Instagram @candaceegbert
