Candice Nysveen Monroe

Candice Nysveen Monroe started her career as an elementary school teacher in North Dakota. She was a school librarian as well. Getting children to read and engage with what they read has always been a goal. She enjoyed helping students find that first book that made them want to read more. Life had her taking on different careers but encouraging reading has always been a priority. When she retired in 2020 writing books for children- particularly her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews- became a reality.
