Carl Waitz

Carl Waitz is an attending psychologist at Boston Children's Hospital, on faculty at Harvard Medical School, and conducts a small private practice in Brookline, MA. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts and behaviors in adolescents. In addition to clinical work, he serves in leadership in the Massachusetts Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology, Chairs the Early Career Psychologist committee of the Massachusetts Psychological Association, and has leadership roles in committees in the Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychology and the Society for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology.
