Carleen Irwin grew up on a farm in Southeastern Idaho with a sister and two brothers. She attended Idaho State University, completing a degree in Elementary Education at Concordia University (Portland, OR). Her passion for teaching began in early childhood and she now has over twenty years’ experience in early childhood classrooms. One of Carleen's greatest joys is sharing her love for reading with children and showing them they can explore the world through books. Her Grandma Amelia read to her as a child and instilled a love for reading, which she then shared with her two children and her students. Those books read by Grandma Amelia were just the beginning of her passion for collecting children’s books. Carleen hopes to inspire a love of reading in your children, as her grandma did for her.
