Carol H Cox developed an avid interest in personal finance while obtaining her MBA at UC Berkeley. After helping her three daughters understand money matters in their teens, she decided to write a book to help other older teens understand essential personal finance concepts before going off on their own. She lives in California with her husband. Like a typical Californian, she enjoys yoga, meditation, a hot cup of tea, and can often be found roaming bookstores and libraries.
