Carol Kuter

Carol Kuter lives in a superb of Dallas, Texas where she and her husband raise backyard chickens. She currently has six chickens and keeps them safe thanks to the help of her Great Pyrenees, Sugar. Carol also maintains a backyard chicken blog where you can get information on chicken behavior, health topics, and chicken predators. When she lost two chicks to a hawk, Carol adopted a Livestock Guardian Dog. Sugar is a great addition to their family. The chickens have accepted her as a member of their flock and Sugar keeps a close eye on them. Sugar the Chicken Dog, the Adventures of a Livestock Guardian is Mrs. Kuter's debut picture book published in 2020.. Since then she's published five additional books plus an activity book. Thanks to Sugar and the chickens, she has many ideas for future stories.
