Carolyn Barber, M.D., earned her B.A. from Princeton University, did her medical training at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and completed her residency at Stanford University Medical Center. An emergency department physician for 25 years, she is also cofounder of a homeless work program in San Diego, Wheels of Change, which has received CNN’s 2020 “Champion for Change” award. Dr. Barber has published extensively. Her writings on COVID-19 related issues and treatments have appeared in Fortune, Scientific American, the New York Daily News, the San Diego Union Tribune, and numerous other news outlets.
