Carolyn L. Huston

Carolyn Huston is the mother of three children, two adult women and a young son. Her son keeps her young at heart and has introduced her to the world of autism. She can often be found at her son's activities, volunteering in school, or helping parents of other children with special needs. She lives in upstate New York with her family. There, she enjoys cooking, traveling, crafts, camping, exploring the outdoors, genealogy, and learning about Native Americans and United States History. Carolyn has also received extensive training to help other families with members with special needs. These trainings include but are not limited to parent support, support parent, lay advocacy, Partner in Policymaking, and support broker (to help families receive additional funding for which they are eligible).
