Carolyn Bartlett Taylor was born in Dallas, Texas - lived in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico - San Antonio, Texas, and now resides in Canyon Lake, Texas. Affiliated with the Canyon Lake Area Writers. Completed two NaNoWriMo ( Fifty thousand words in thirty days ) submissions. An Opinion piece published in the San Antonio Express/News, titled ''Ruffles and Flourishes''. Two short stories appear in ''Hill Country Tales For Hill Country Tails'' (One by brother, Robert Bartlett, DVM) an anthology from River City, New Braunfels Writer's Guild, and Canyon Lake Area Writers to support the Canyon Lake Animal Shelter. Appearing in ''Check It Out'', anthology by Canyon Lake Area Writers holds another short story. The author also paints, having over forty oil paintings in her oeuvre. Favorite authors are: Rudyard Kipling; Paul Thereaux; E. L. Doctorow; Michael Ondaatje; Scott Fitzgerald.
