Casey B. Cessnun is a passionate software engineer, educator, and advocate for STEM education, with a primary focus on computer science and programming. With over two decades of experience in software development, cloud architecture, and artificial intelligence, Casey has worked across industries including cybersecurity, education technology, telecommunications, and SaaS. A lifelong learner, Casey is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science (AI: Interactive Intelligence) at Georgia Tech, balancing cutting-edge research with hands-on experience in cloud computing, software engineering, and AI-driven automation. As an author, Casey is dedicated to making coding and computer science accessible to learners of all ages. His debut book, Python for Kids: Level 1, is the first in a series designed to introduce young minds to computational thinking, problem-solving, and programming fundamentals in an engaging and approachable way. With two more books in the series on the way, Casey aims to ignite a passion for technology and innovation in young learners by making complex topics fun and digestible. When he’s not writing or coding, Casey loves spending time with his son ( his best buddy in the whole world ), scuba diving, swimming, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. He also has a deep interest in robotics and emerging AI technologies, always looking for new ways to merge his passions for engineering, automation, and hands-on learning.
