Hi there, my name is Cassia Ann and I'm dedicated to promoting positivity, motivation, and professionalism. I'm a former certified clinical hemodialysis technician, author of two best-selling books on nephrology and self-help, and an entrepreneur. Recently, I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology, and I'm now working towards my master's in social work. Originally from Atlanta, GA, I moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2006 where I landed a job as a dialysis assistant. With hard work and dedication, I was promoted to dialysis technician within a year. My supervisor, Mrs. Showers, believed in me and motivated me to overcome the obstacles I faced in the dialysis field. In 2012, I started writing my first book, "Expert Tips on Becoming a Dialysis Technician," which I completed in 2014. This book was born out of the numerous questions I received from people interested in entering the field. Now, aspiring technicians can gain valuable insights and learn what it takes to land a job and function professionally in a dialysis environment.
