Cassie Shelley

Cassie Shelley lives in Ontario, Canada, with her husband and daughter. Cassie is a caring and sentimental writer with a fun and vibrant imagination. She was inspired to write about going to the cottage while reading a book to her daughter about camping. This led to reminiscing about trips to the cottage as a young girl and turning those memories into a children’s book. She has many memories and intends to make a series of books for each season. Some of Cassie's favourite activities at the cottage are; having a campfire, going for a boat ride and sitting by the lake. What are your favourite activities to do at the cottage? Cassie encourages parents/guardians to talk about the pictures in the book and ask questions to the reader to promote conversation and connection.
