The UNCOMMON MAN About the Author The Author, Celedonio M. Javier (aka C. M. Javier) was inspired to write this book, The UNCOMMON MAN, 4th Edition, to share the memoirs of his life beyond the Philippines, with a view to leaving a legacy for his wife, children and grandchildren of this generation and the next generation to come to cherish. This book is written in the format of an Autobiography. The contents are based purely on memories and recollections of the Author and any discrepancies or variations from facts are purely incidental and not intentional. C. M. Javier was born in Magsalise, Jaen, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on March 3, 1937. After completing his elementary education in his hometown, Tabuating (where the family migrated during the Japanese occupation), San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, he attended his First year High School in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija and then moved to Manila at the age of 15 to complete High School and pursue College education at one of the best Universities in the Philippines. He finished College in 1962, with a Degree in Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In the same year, he took the Board exam for Mechanical Plant Engineers given by the Board of Mechanical Engineering Examiners. He received his License to practice in February,1963. C. M. Javier married Rizalina (Lina) Juan of Manila on June 29,1963 with whom he had five children [4 of whom are girls and 1 boy (youngest)]. The girls are named Maria Corazon, Maria Stella, Maria Cecilia and Maria Rosario. The youngest Is Jose Celedonio II. As of this writing, two of the children have been blessed with their own children: Maria Corazon has Shozo and Masayoshi, and Jose Celedonio II has Joselito Manuel Celedonio III, Carlo Francisco, and Emeil Potenciano.. In 1987, C. M. Javier left the Philippines when President Ferdinand E. Marcos stepped down from Presidency. He migrated to the United States where he decided to sojourn with his family. The earlier Editions of The UNCOMMON MAN reveal (as is herein reiterated) the extent of C. M. Javier’s relationship with President Ferdinand E. Marcos during his Presidency, from 1965 to 1986. The line of communication between him and the President was open 24/7 thru the STUDY ROOM where he had access to the President. The life of the Author after leaving the Philippines and migrating to the United States reveal his sojourns to other parts of the world, namely: UNITED STATES, EUROPE, and the Middle East, including Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, and Singapore, among others in Asia. In the United States, C. M. Javier established his foothold in doing business internationally. He engaged in international financing and investment banking. He established connections with the internationally known financial institutions in Paris, France, London, U.K. and New York, USA.
