关于作者

About the Author: Ces Lawton Ces Lawton, a third-generation Orlando native, has spent 73 years crafting a life rich in adventure, family, and community. He grew up surrounded by the beauty of Central Florida, enjoying years of boating and swimming on the St. Johns River. With siblings much older than him, Ces often navigated his early years with the independence of an only child, fostering a self-reliant and ambitious spirit. Ces’s leadership journey blossomed at LaGrange College in Georgia, where he captained the tennis team, revitalized campus traditions, and led projects that connected students with the surrounding community. His adventures included international travel, such as a life-changing study-abroad experience in Israel and Greece. After college, Ces returned to Orlando to join Lawton Printers, the family business established in 1900. He transformed the struggling operation into a thriving enterprise while serving as a police officer, developing the Central Florida Crimewatch Program, and organizing charitable events with Kiwanis. His dedication to community service culminated in his election as Governor of the Florida District of Kiwanis. Now retired in North Carolina, Ces has been married to his wife Sharon for 52 years. They share pride in their two impressively beautiful daughters and outstanding grandchildren. Ces and Sharon enjoy writing, reflecting on their rich experiences, and embracing life’s seasons surrounded by family and nature.
