I was born in 1954 and started building free flight sailplanes and rubber models in 1966. During my college years and when I started working I temporarily gave up model airplanes. In 1981 I started again with radio control and in 1987 I fell in love with old timers. In 1989 I became secretary of SAM 62 (Society of Antique Modelers) until 1993, when I relaunched MODELLISMO magazine, which had already been published from 1945 to 1956. The bi-monthly publication of the magazine continued until 2020 with a total of 168 issues, 19 yearbooks and various other books. I routinely fly RC gliders, both scale and electric. I now publish my own books - in Italian and in English - in the series "I Quaderni di MODELLISMO". I look after my cats, listen to music, and while aging I get dumber and dumber. I am a teen-ager with 60 years of experience.
