Dr. Charles A. Grandson IV

Dr. Charles Grandson is the Founder and Chief Executive of Africana Leadership Academy, a youth educational and leadership development institute dedicated to preparing the next generation of youth and young adult leaders. Dr. Grandson had previously served as a Chief Equity & Strategy Officer for the Boston Public Schools, and prior to that as Chief Academic Officer. He had served as a superintendent of schools, a high school principal, a History program director and high school Humanities and AP Government teacher. Dr. Grandson has an earned Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction, and a Bachelor of Arts in History, all from Boston College.
