Charles Middleton

Bishop Charles L. Middleton Sr., (Th.B., M.Div.D.Min.) has served as the senior pastor of Mt. Zion New Covenant Baptist Church on the west side of Detroit for the last 29 yrs. After having retired as the Senior Pastor however, the call of God has brought him out of retirement to now serve as the interim pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, on the east side of Detroit. He is also a regular teacher in the Global United Fellowship International School of Ministry. He is a well-seasoned published author of many life-changing books but is perhaps best known for his Foundation Series, which has established many in the faith that was once delivered to the saints. These materials have been effective in bringing believers up into spiritual maturity, as they seek to be conformed to the image of his Son. His ministry has spanned over 40 years since God supernaturally called him at the age of 16. In the Spring of 1976, God gave him a clear word of wisdom that was destined to change the entire focus of his life and ministry. Since then he has committed himself to the ministry of foundation laying and reconstruction in the local church. However, by his own admission his greatest ministry is to his role and commitment as a husband, father, and grandfather, all for the glory of God.
