Charmaine, a first time author, was inspired to write this book after caring for her mother, Audrey. It made Charmaine think of the many women who have lived and are still living into their 90s. Charmaine is a retired teacher of 33 years. After her retirement, she worked with young adults with disabilities and also as a standardized patient educator at a local hospital. She now works as a chauffeur for Susquehanna Limousine Service and enjoys meeting people from many walks of life. Charmaine is married with two grown children, Mark and Paige, and also has identical twin three year old granddaughters, Violet and Josephine. She resides in Northumberland, PA with her husband, Bob (Doc). She has recently been making appearances at local libraries where the book has been warmly received and some lively discussions have taken place. Charmaine also was featured on Author’s Corner on Channel 27 in Harrisburg on Good Day Pa. She is looking forward to being a guest with book clubs that are featuring her book as their monthly selection.
