Charmant Theodore

Charmant Theodore is the author of Hippocrene's Haitian Creole-English/English-Haitian Creole Concise Dictionary, Haitian Creole Practical Dictionary, Haitian Creole Dictionary & Phrasebook. He taught Haitian Creole at the University of Florida, is a professional Creole interpreter in Florida, and has extensive translation experience. A native of Haiti, Theodore resides in the United States. Over 20 years of experience as an Educator, Advisor, Teacher/Trainer, Interpreter/Translator, and Lecturer at the high school level through the university level. Fluent in French, Creole, and Spanish; primary expertise is in French and Creole, with cross cultural consulting and additional job experience in real estate sales, as an executive director, education coordinator, and in public service.
