Chase Cassine is the author of the debut cookbook, The Sweetest Therapy. With his dual identity as a licensed clinical social worker and self-taught baker, Cassine embarked on a transformative and healing journey in writing about the solace and therapeutic value of baking after experiencing a tragic loss. He received his bachelor of arts in psychology and master of social work degree from Southern University. In addition, over five years of experience in various mental health settings, from crisis stabilization to inpatient psychiatric. Currently, he is a sought-after therapist providing individual therapy at a local community health clinic. Every day he assists clients through grief, loss, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and communication issues. As a therapist, he teaches assertive communication, practice of self-compassion, and empower clients to take control of their lives and make positive changes. A proud New Orleans native, he is a lover of the city’s eclectic culture, baking mouthwatering desserts and spreading self-empowerment to those professionally and personally.
