Award winning author, songwriter, and master storyteller Cheryl DaVeiga loves to make people laugh with her BiffBamBooza books and website where kids can 'get their giggles on'. Her stories are filled with humor and funny punny wordplay--fun for the whole family! A former business executive from New Jersey, Cheryl’s real love was music! Her creative musical side developed into a late-night songwriting habit inspired by her then 7-year-old nephew. Cheryl recorded her children's songs and produced music videos as a cartoon character called CADi Grace. She was hooked! That was so much fun, she tried her hand at adult tunes, won an ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) honor for a veterans' anthem, and then went on to write the featured song for the State of Alabama Bicentennial Celebration, the theme song to the philanthropic Where Angels Play Foundation, and an NJ Arts' pick for top NJ summer songs. But the children's projects were her favorites and called her back. Cheryl began to turn children's "story songs" into books and books into songs. She loves to combine humor, rhyme, and wordplay to create stories and songs that bring on the giggles. You can find her books and animated sing-along song videos on her website for kids and kid-lovers- Stay tuned for the much-anticipated sequel to War at the Ice Cream store....coming up soon!! Cheryl lives in Tucson, Arizona, and spends summers in her native New Jersey.
