I struggled for years with getting and staying organized. It was such a frustration for me that I started blogging about organization in the hope of coming up with the miracle cure. Researching how to organize every square inch of my home certainly helped but I soon got caught up in the vicious circle of organizing for a weekend only for chaos to have returned a few weeks later. It wasn't until I started tackling small areas on a regular basis that change started to occur. As I took it one day at a time, one space at a time, I began to turn a hopeless struggle into a manageable part of my life. Things slowly started to improve and I instinctively began to develop the organizing reflexes necessary to stay organized. My book, “The Staying Organized Survival Guide”, bypasses all of the things I tried that didn't work and takes you straight to the golden nuggets of the system that I now use.
