Chris Hammond

I'm Chris Hammond, a former U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant turned author, pro photographer, drone pilot, guitar player, and voice-over artist. Over thirteen years ago, my wife and I were both handed divorces we didn't ask for. I’m deeply acquainted with the pain of abandonment, false accusations, grief, and shame. I believe that people don't want to be “fixed" but loved, and deep down at their very core is a hunger for the love made by an infinite God who is love and desires union and oneness to fill you up with Himself, in the person of Jesus. We have a blended family of ten kids and drive two Hondas to get around. We enjoy camping, hiking, bike riding, canoeing, white-water rafting, and exploring the beauty of Jesus through the Great Smoky Mountains. Through my book and our organization, Operation: Victory Blends, we share the message that even amidst the brokenness and challenges of life, there is hope, healing, and profound love in Jesus Christ. Our journey and insights are designed to help you see beyond the pain and into the victory that comes from true union with Jesus. Our organization, Operation: Victory Blends, is dedicated to helping families understand that "people don't want to be fixed; they want to be loved." Deep down, every person has a hunger for the love that only an infinite God can provide—a love that desires union and oneness, to fill them up with Himself through the person of Jesus. Operation: Victory Blends provides fractured families with resources, videos, and social media content to teach them how to pray with passion, confidence, and authority, to affect permanent, real change with Jesus. We cater specifically to blended military families, helping them find the profound love and healing that only Jesus can offer. Through my own journey and experiences, I strive to show others how to see life through the lens of Jesus's forgiveness, healing, and restoration.
