Chris Huang

Author-Illustrator – Chris Huang Chris Huang is a Chicago-based author/illustrator for many popular bilingual picture books for young children and an author/editor of two professional design books. As an immigrant with a diverse professional and cultural background in fine art education, communication design, and Chinese teaching, Chris wrote her first children's picture book after becoming an empty nester. Her cultural stories and expressive, unique language practice books are brought to life by her creative, vibrant and free-style illustrations. 黃老師(筆名）台灣師大美術敎育，紐約普拉特藝術學院視傳媒設計，定居美國芝加哥。 25+年商業設計經驗，在當地曾任視傳設計公司負責人，為企業五百大客戶 (McDonald’s, Bridge Firestone, Eli Lilly, 3Com, FedEx …) 案件的創意設計總監，得八座行銷設計獎, 及在藝術學院設計系兼任講師, 着有二本專業設計叢書，空巢後，對錯過孩子的成長，及下一代海外華人學習華語不足的缺憾，因而開始繪製以海外兒童為主要對象的一系列中英文雙語文化教育的兒童繪本。 她的文字童趣十足，畫風自然，顏色大膽，深受孩子們的喜愛。
