Chris Lemoine was born in Cologne, Germany, where he grew up in the 1950s and 1960s. Later, he moved to London, England, for a few years. He co-owned a gallery in Camden Town, London, where he exhibited his drawings. He later lived in India and Mexico, and eventually made his home in Seattle, where he's been since 1985. Chris has studied linguistics, history, philosophy, and musicology; gets around in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish; worked in warehouses, as a logger, a baker, a nurse, a telemarketer, in sales, in construction, and as a leader of encounter groups and t'ai chi workshops. When he's not working on his science fiction, he writes articles for paying clients, most of them technology companies. You can find him on the usual social networks. His blog is at https://storiestravelsvisions.com/ and his website at http://www.visionstorycontent-chrislemoine.com/. Why literary science fiction? For both writer and reader, it offers an opportunity to create and enjoy fascinating, thoughtful, provocative, and well-made stories that shed a light on who we are and what we are becoming. By bringing an alien, refreshing perspective into our lives, it helps us see ourselves in a larger context. It aims to bypass and overcome the exhausted categories of standard literary fiction and SF and their fascination with ever-repeating characters and themes.
