Chris Morse

I spent my working life as a Reprographics Artist, and my spare time as a photographer. I'm not a Professional, just an amateur. I studied photography during my Foundation Year at Newport College of Art, South Wales, in 1987, where I was taught by one of the worlds top 100 photographers. He was the only encouraging tutor I had that year. Amazing where a little encouragement takes you. I hated the rest of the course and left early to get a job, earn money and go and see Springsteen in concert. I bought a camera that year also, a Petri GX-1. I later moved down the Nikon pathway (in those days you either chose Nikon or Canon and kind of stayed with them for life) and currently enjoy using a D7200, an Infrared converted D7100, a dedicated sports camera (again a D7100) and a DJI Mavic 2 Pro Drone. I was made redundant in 2019 and have stayed that way, spending my time roaming the local countryside seeing what I can discover. I live in Barnard Castle, England with my wife Nicky. We have 2 children, Elionwy & Nathan.
