Chris Smith is the author of Hank the Hungry Hummingbird and the inventor of the ZUMMR Hummingbird Ring. Inspired by his love of nature, and hummingbirds, Smith invented the Hummingbird Ring in May 2018. After its success, and feedback from others about their experiences with the Hummingbird Ring, he wanted to find a fun and educational way to share those experiences with others. Hank the Hungry Hummingbird was the perfect way to accomplish this and allow Smith to do something he has always wanted to do—publish a children’s book.
