Chris Weaver

Television Producer/Director Chris Weaver co-founded Free Spirit Film & TV. Chris has extensive experience in the Film and TV industry. He started his career as a Film cameraman working on high profile current affairs programmes and documentaries for the BBC and Independent Television and later moved into directing and producing. Chris has worked on BAFTA winning TV programmes and received numerous prestigious awards for his work as Director of Photography on Music Videos, TV Commercials and 35mm Feature Films. Chris is now producing and directing a wide diversity of independant Film and TV productions for global distribution. With a career spanning over 30 years in the industry, Chris has travelled the world and worked with many respected and distinguished people including Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, Oliver Reed, Michael Cain and many more. Chris has also been responsible for training and helping many young people break into the industry. He belives that young, new enthusiatic talent is the vital for the future of the film and TV.
