Christophe Pourny was born and raised in the village of Fayence, in the South of France. Growing up in his parents antique store gave Pourny a unique sense of history, and an appreciation for antique furniture and the history associated. After graduating from University in Nice, he would move to Paris to apprentice with his uncle Pierre Madel. Madel's store of the same name was a destination on the Rue Jacob. America was calling Christophe and 20 years ago he moved to NYC. He began his career restoring fine antiques, and over the years has developed a loyal following of celebrities and celebrated interior designers. In keeping with the old-world traditions they use daily, Christophe Pourny Studio created a collection of all natural wood and leather care products in 2010. The range of Tonics, Serums, Creams, and Waxes are mixed in small batches in Brooklyn, made from the finest ingredients. Available through the studio website, the Handmade Marketplace on Amazon, or fine gift stores throughout the US, and in select stores in Japan. The Furniture Bible took over two years to organize, write, photograph, and edit, and a lifetime of experience to create. To learn more - visit.. www.ChristophePourny.com
