Christopher Clohessy

South African-born Catholic priest with a PhD in Islamic Studies from the Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (PISAI) in Rome. Professor on the PISAI faculty and lecturer in theology at the Pontifical Beda College in Rome. Winner of the 2021 Islamic Republic of Iran’s Book Award for Distinguished Researcher of Shia Studies.
