A lifelong Rhode Islander, Chris began writing mystery novels at the age of 45 when he published his first book featuring hard-boiled private detective Nick Chambers in 2011. Since that time, he has published a total of nine hard-boiled detective mysteries. Chris holds a Master's Degree from the University of Rhode Island, and is an avid fan of pulp fiction and Film Noir. The Nicholas Chambers Mystery series is set in the 1940's during the Second World War. The Duke Jameson Mysteries are set in the 1970's Nick Chambers Mysteries: Book 1. Duke Jameson Mysteries: Book 1. The Block Island Mystery Its October of 1970, and out of work police detective Duke Jameson is asked to look into the deaths of two male students at the State University.
