I am a veteran of both the United States Air Force and Army and an IT executive. My wife and I live in a small house built in 1921. It is in an equally small town nestled deep in a valley of the Boston Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. It is a quirky town and a quirky house. We are the proud parents of four well-adjusted and creative children and one spectacular granddaughter (soon to be two). After traveling the country and the world for both military and business, Arkansas is our forever home. It is truly a beautiful state, made more so by the closeness of the family. I have stories published by Fairlight Books, Proud to be: Writing by America's Warriors, Military Experience and the Arts and Coffin Bell Journal. I am very excited by my publishing partnership with the Wild Rose Press who has just released my first novel The Fountain. I am currently polishing a novel about a former truck driver named Granny, a man who owns all four corners of a mid-western interstate intersection and has built an empire of highway businesses out there on the cold windy plains (a fudge factory, motel, bar and truck stop.) In the process he has made himself rich and powerful and, yet… He just can’t shake the feeling that something is missing. If he can keep his wife from shooting him, his employees from killing each other and his family together long enough, he might just be able to avoid the murderous ex-crime boss who has resurfaced after twenty years and find a way turn his life around. The novel is called Intersection and that’s what it’s about, the intersections in one man’s life, the secrets that he keeps and the efforts that he goes to to right his wrongs and to find peace.
