Christy Claxton is a writer and creative thinker who spent her career masquerading as an operational leader. She led operations teams across multiple industries throughout her 30-plus year career. However, she never stopped writing short stories, essays, blogs and songs. Her approach towards her operational teams was rooted in her natural state of creativity - understanding what motivates people to do the things they do. Those observations are woven into her songs, stories and essays. Christy holds a BA and MA in English from Texas A&M University. She lives in Austin with her wife, two dogs and a semi-feral cat.
