Chuck Austen

Chuck (Charles) Austen is a crazy man whose teachers were right when they said he should be doing something more productive with his time. He’s worked in LA over thirty years for companies as varied as FOX, Cartoon Network, and DreamworksTV on such shows as King of The Hill, Steven Universe, ROCKY AND BULLWINKLE (available here at Amazon) Kipo in the Age of the Wonderbeasts, SHE-RA, and The Princesses of Power, and most recently, DRAGONS: The Nine Realms, which apparently doesn’t keep him busy enough if he’s writing e-books. He doesn't have much free time, but when he does, for some reason he loves to write comics, and novels, and has written for TokyoPop, as well as DC and Marvel. He is currently the author of a ComiXology Original series: Edgeworld, which is doing quite well, thank you very much. His TokyoPop manga, Boys of Summer was named one of the top ten manga by Publisher's Weekly in 2009. He is finishing a new novel set in the Nekkid Bottoms world, as well as a a few more comics, and a science fiction project because who needs sleep? His novels have been appearing here at Amazon since 2008, and have never won the Pulitzer, but probably will some day, along with the Nobel Peace Prize, the Humanitas, and the Spicy Pickle Award. It’s really just a matter of time.
