Cindy Sabulis is a multi-genre author, writing both fiction and nonfiction. After years of writing for magazines and newspapers, Cindy switched to researching and writing books. As a lifetime collector of vintage dolls and toys, and a long-time business owner dealing in vintage collectibles, she used her knowledge to author four reference guides on doll collecting; "The Collector's Guide to Tammy, the Ideal Teen" (co-authored),"The Collector's Guide to Dolls of the 1960s and 1970s," "The Collector's Guide to Dolls of the 1960s and 1970s, Volume II," and "Tammy Rarities From Around the World" (co-authored). In addition, Cindy served as an adviser and contributor to more than 25 volumes of yearly collectible price guide books including "Schroeders Collectible Toys," "Flea Market Trader," and "Garage Sale & Flea Market Annual." In her book, "The Garage Sale How-To Guide," Cindy shares her marketing and selling expertise as a business owner and her experience in running garage sales to help others run their own successful sale. Cindy's debut middle-grade novel, "Living at Langster Motel" is a coming-of-age story about friendship and community. It is the journey of 13-year-old Cali Jarvis who lives in a single motel room with her mom and her sisters. It is a living situation that, unfortunately, occurs more often than many people realize, and one that many children living in temporary housing can relate to.
