In 2018, we embarked on a new chapter of life, moving to a 3-acre property that became the foundation of my homesteading journey. When COVID hit, I committed wholeheartedly to creating a lifestyle focused on health and self-sufficiency—a mission inspired by my personal experience following a cancer diagnosis in 2009. My journey has been one of learning, growth, and resilience, fueled by the desire to nurture my family and share the profound rewards of homesteading. Through City Garden Press, I aim to share the knowledge, tips, and inspiration I've gathered along the way, empowering others to cultivate their own healthy, sustainable, and fulfilling lives.
