Hello readers. I was newly married, a military spouse, and away in Germany from my family when I decided to write my first novel. While my husband was off training to become the best solider that he could be, I had my boys playing nearby as I poured my thoughts out on paper. My first novel was entitled, Run Away Bay; however, after sitting on the shelf for over 15 years, I decided to brush the manuscript off and retitle it, Thunder. I chose to write the Paybackers' Club after watching someone very close to me experience domestic violence. I felt very helpless and the only thing I could do was to write something about it. With 2 self-published novels added to my bio, I felt compelled to continue to write about whatever came to mind. Mi Sista was inspired by my own experience of migrating from Jamaica to the USA. I later decided to change course away from novel writing and penned, "How to Be the Best Secretary Anyone Could Ever Have," and "Embracing the Ball and Chain." My newest project, "Create a Card," is a product of a greeting card business I once owned. I have a master’s degree in human resources management, currently work as an Office Manager for a law firm in DC, and reside in Maryland. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, shopping, traveling, reading, and exploring business opportunities. I would like to thank my readers for supporting my mission to become a full-time writer.
