Clayton Taylor

Clayton started out as a flight instructor while attending college. He then worked as an air traffic controller, certified in both control tower and approach radar operations. He is also a certified weather observer. After leaving the profession, Clayton flew for a number of smaller airlines before landing a job with a major US airline. In addition to the thirty or so light airplane types he's flown, he is type rated on the: SD3, ATR42, ATR72, A320, A330, B737 and B747-400. Clayton has published well over a hundred articles in various aviation magazines, and wrote his own column in Airways magazine for a number of years. Clayton is married, has two grown daughters and currently resides in Texas.
