The name of CODEX REGIUS, the Royal Book, came about when an acquaintance of this pair of authors was looking for a catchy name for a small publishing house to be founded. For personal reasons, this foundation never materialised. When the two authors decided to leave the trade publishing business and switch to self-publishing in 2013, they took the vacant name as their own pseudonym, as both their surnames contain too many strange special characters, especially for the Anglo-Saxon market. Today, Codex Regius is best known for the non-fiction ‘Explorers of Minor Worlds’ series and the completed historical ‘Rome and the World Machine’ Sandalpunk series.
